The title of the AGH UST Honorary Professor is conferred to prominent scientists, technology creators, and other people who have been active or retired AGH UST employees. The symbols of the distinction are a diploma, Rector's medal, and a sash. The candidate must hold a doctoral degree.

The title of the AGH UST Honorary Professor is conferred during a ceremonial session of the AGH UST Senate.
