The AGH UST Student Campus constitutes an integral part of the University Campus and is the largest student settlement area in Poland.

The 20 dormitories on campus offer more than 7,500 beds to students of the AGH UST and other Krakow universities. Residents of the AGH UST Student Campus live within a 10-minute walk of the teaching facilities.

All dormitories comprise a kitchen, TV room, reading room, laundry, and drying room. Furthermore, all student rooms allow free Internet access. Students are also welcome to use sports equipment and, in some dorms, a gym.

All dormitories, which have been refurbished in recent years, were adapted to accommodate people with disabilities. There are lifts, wheelchair ramps near the main entrances, and wide room doors for easy access. Some buildings have placards and room descriptions in braille. The student clubs were also adapted accordingly.

The Student Campus also comprises student clubs, a swimming pool with a gym and a bowling alley, sports fields, a day nursery, and numerous different shops, eating establishments, and various commercial facilities.

Student clubs:

• Academic Cultural Centre, Club STUDIO is one of the largest concert clubs in Poland. There is also Browar Górniczo-Hutniczy [Mining & Metallurgy Brewery], which was established to honour the Jubilee of 100 Years of AGH UST.
• Klub Zaścianek regularly hosts young artists who can showcase their skills in front of a wider audience. You can also go there to enjoy karaoke or Śpiewogranie [collective singing events with live music].
• Klub Gwarek organises concerts for blues, jazz, and folk music aficionados.
• Klub Filutek is an ideal location for a meeting with friends.

 

Some dormitories also offer short-term accommodation for tourists. During holidays, the number of available spots amounts to several thousand.

The modern and user-friendly infrastructure and amenities, the proximity of teaching facilities, the inimitable ambience, safety, quick and easy access to the city centre, and the ubiquitous green spaces make the AGH UST Student Campus a perfect place both to live during your years at the university and to spend some quality time with your friends.
