For forty years, the faculty has been focusing on teaching and research activities oriented towards the development of a reliable knowledge base, combining management with modern technologies.

The mission of the AGH UST Faculty of Management is to support the development of modern management systems for organisations operating in the economy based on knowledge by creating and transferring advanced and practical knowledge in the field of economic and technical sciences.

The education offer for students reflects the traditions and challenges of the contemporary market. Our first- and second-cycle programmes of study include: Management, Management and Production Engineering, and Information Technology and Econometrics. A versatile profile of our programmes of study, encompassing a wide range of managerial and engineering skills, offers faculty graduates high employment prospects, both in private companies and the public sector.

One of the strengths of the faculty is a well-developed international collaboration. Our students are frequently offered internships or work placements abroad, as well as opportunities to study at partner universities; they are invited to participate in lectures given by professors from other countries, and to cooperate directly with a large number of international students studying at the faculty. International collaboration plays an important role in the scientific research activity of the faculty.

The researchers of the faculty are recognised in the Polish and international scientific communities; they deliver lectures abroad and work on joint projects in international research teams. The results of the conducted research are published regularly in leading Polish and international scientific journals. The popularisation of knowledge and its transfer to the world of economy plays an important role, being part of the research activity conducted at the faculty.

The Faculty of Management is an AGH UST unit offering the widest range of forms of education directed to the practitioners of management. The education offer, which enables lifelong learning, encompasses first- and second-cycle part-time programmes of study, doctoral studies, various courses and trainings, as well as postgraduate programmes.
