Challenges in Applied Geology and Geophysics

International scientific conference Challenges in Applied Geology and Geophysics will take place from 10th to 13th September 2019 in Kraków. It is organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Applied Geology. 

The conference will review the current status of scientific methods and approaches applied in exploration and exploitation of major mineral and energy resources, with emphasis on risk assessment and environmental impact of those activities. Applications of new geophysical methods and methodologies, as well as interesting case studies based on Polish and worldwide data will be presented. One of the conference topics will be the effective use of renewable energy resources, with emphasis on geothermal energy.
