Conference Water Disinfection – threats, challenges, new technologies will take place in AGH UST in Krakow on September 21-22, 2017. 

Conference is a forum for scientists and practitioners working in the field of water treatment and disinfection. The conference focuses on the challenges faced by waterworks and swimming pools in balancing the risk of microbial contamination and the potential health risks associated with the by-products formation and water vulnerability to secondary microbiological contamination.

During the conference the following topics will be raised:

• searching for new, effective methods of water disinfection;
• water disinfection by-products formation, toxicity and challenges of minimizing their concentration;
• new technologies of water treatment and their impact on water disinfection process;
• biofilm formation and biological corrosion;
• microbial water stability;
• advanced analytic methods of water disinfection by-products and micrbiological parameters.
