Gold for AGH UST mountain bikers

The AGH UST won a gold medal in men mountain biking (team category) during the Academic Championships of Poland organised by AZS AGH.
Besides our university, the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice made it to the platform. In women mountain biking, the highest prize went to the University of Gdańsk which beat Gdańsk University of Technology and the Poznań University of Life Sciences.
The Championships took place between May 18 and 19, 2022 in Spytkowice. More than 180 contestants from 44 universities participated in the event. On the first day, the participants competed in individual runs (timed); and on the second day, they participated in the main race. The route was almost 4 kilometres with about 150 m elevation gain.
