We are happy to announce that AGH UST's Media Centre won first place in the ‘Student Media’ category of ProJuvenes Awards – a competition recognizing best student initiatives, projects and organisations. Both the jury and Internet users appreciated the contribution made by MINE TV, RADIO17, BIS AGH and KSAF to the creation of a strong academic community and promotion of student activity as well as the Centre’s reliability and the varied nature of the media content released by its team. The results of the contest were announced on 25 November during the official award gala event.
AGH UST’s Media Centre (CM AGH) is a unique Polish student organisation which groups together four closely cooperating media publishers: Radio17, Student Information Newsletter, Cracow Student Photo Agency (KSAF) and MINE TV. Members of the organisation have access to modern facilities and professional equipment which enables them to hone their skills in media and artistic activity. CM AGH is involved in producing radio broadcasts and spots, publishes press articles, creates films, graphic content and professional photography. Senior members of the team run workshops and seminars, sharing their knowledge during numerous trips they regularly undertake. Members of the Centre have the opportunity to cooperate closely with teams responsible for AGH-UST’s promotional activity, thus contributing to creating the University’s image.
The Media Centre is open for AGH-UST’s students of all interests and skills. The organisation offers a wide range of roles related to the creative sector – sound engineers, editors, marketing and event experts and cinematographers. Recruitment starts at the beginning of each semester.
