We know the results of the latest international ranking U-Multirank. The evaluation was carried out for 1,500 universities, 3,284 faculties, and 10,526 programmes of study in 99 countries. The AGH University of Science and Technology has been classified in the ranking.
The areas that U-Multirank takes into account are teaching and learning, scientific research, transfer of knowledge, international orientation, and regional engagement. Each main category has its own indicators that enable the comparison of universities. The scores fall into a 5-level scale from A (very good) to E (poor).
A distinctive feature of U-Multirank is the fact that it is the users who can decide which indicators are important for them. The developers of the ranking do not show which universities or fields of study are better than the others, but they let the interested users create their own personalised ranking.
U-Multirank is an initiative of the European Commission financed within the framework of the programme Erasmus+. The ranking is developed and implemented by an independent consortium run by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) in Germany, the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
