AGH UST first time in prestigious ranking NTU

We are pleased to inform that the AGH University of Science and Technology for the first time has entered the ranking of the National Taiwan University and was highly rated in the fields “material science” and “mechanical engineering”.  

285^th place in the field of “material science” is the most important success, and AGH UST is the only Polish university distinguished in this area. In the field of “mechanical engineering”, the university was ranked 295^th.  

The NTU ranking is based on the numbers of publications and citations and takes into account years 2005-2015. It is one of the most prestigious rankings alongside the Academic Ranking of World Universities (the Shanghai Ranking), Times Higher Education, QS University Ranking, and U.S. News & World Report’s rankings. The ranking makes an evaluation of over 900 universities. They are selected from among 4 thousand universities that have clear international academic background and scientific output. The published list comprises 500 best schools of higher education and is divided into 6 field categories and 14 subject categories.
