AGH UST and Delphi Poland SA sign collaboration agreement

On 5th March, 2012, the AGH University of Science and Technology signed a collaboration agreement with Delphi Poland. The agreement specifies a long-standing relationship between both partners. The collaboration between Delphi and the university is intended to enable undertaking joint initiatives within the scope of research, carrying out projects and the development of educational programmes on the basis of Delphi's technological base and the scientific-research background and infrastructure of the university.


The agreement was signed by Scott Kuyawa - member of Delphi Management Board, Marzena Jasińska, authorised manager, and professor Jerzy Lis, AGH UST Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Development.

 
Delphi is a leading global supplier of electronic systems and technologies for the automotive industry, commercial vehicles, and other segments of the market. The concern began its business activity in Poland in 1994 when it employed 250 staff. Today, four production plants and a modern Technology Centre in Kraków offer employment to over 4,000 people. In Kraków, Polish engineers carry out research into advanced technological solutions for international car manufacturers. In Ostrów Wielkopolski, a group of engineers deals with the issues of Research and Development.
